Rescue Me ID: 14-09-07-00172Stella (female)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

My name is Stella, and I'm so happy to have a chance at a new life in Colorado! I'm a 7 year old gal, with cropped ears and a docked tail, weighing 9.5 lbs. I came here from Missouri, where someone not very nice used me for breeding. I'm excited to not have to have puppies any more, and thrilled that I'm finally going to get all of the love, attention, and affection I've been deserving all of these years! I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a dog sweeter than me. I really just want to be next to you as much as possible and cuddle. Like to read, watch TV, and work on your laptop? I am your girl (though, if we're being honest, I ... (Read More)prefer you work on your tablet so I can have some of your lap)! I don't require a lot of special care or attention - I just want your companionship, and I will work really hard to please my new family. I'm great with other dogs big and small, and though I haven't been around kitties before, my foster mom thinks I would be fine around them. Kiddos are okay too, just so long as they are gentle with me. I am a really good girl - I do well in a crate, and I'm working on my housetraining. I'm very responsive to gentle verbal correction if I'm going somewhere I shouldn't be, or doing something I shouldn't. I haven't really been walked on a leash much before, but I do like to follow my people around, so I'll get the hang of it! I can't wait to meet my new forever family, so don't delay in contacting the good folks at Little PAWS! (Less)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Introducing Maddie! She is a sweet young girl, about 2 years old, who is 'all natural' - natural ears and tail. She weighs about 10.5 lbs. She is quite timid at first and takes some time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is loving and affectionate. Maddie is great with other dogs, and respectful of cats. Because she is timid, we suggest no children under 10. Maddie is housetrained using a doggie door, and crate trained as well. She is a good guard dog and alerts when someone comes to the door or too close to her yard. Maddie is very playful with other dogs once she is comfortable in her surroundings, and is going to ... Rescue Me ID: 14-08-18-00554Pinkie (female)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Obese

Pinkie is a sweet gal, about 10 years old. She has natural ears and a docked tail. Pinkie is seeking her forever home after her previous owner passed away and her family could not care for her. She was loved a little too much in her previous home, and fed hot dogs! As a result, she is overweight. She is doing well on her diet, however, and she adores going for walks, so that combination is helping her slim down quickly! Pinkie is a wonderful companion for a family with older children or someone looking for a more low-key friend. She is a quieter gal and rarely barks, so would be great in an apartment! Pinkie deserves a home who will ... (Read More)give her love and companionship - if that home is yours, please contact us! (Less)

Say hello to Newman! He is a 5 year old Pinner, with natural ears and a docked tail. He was loved a little too much in his previous home, and as a result is overweight. His caring and dedicated foster home has already gotten his weight down in just a few weeks, but he has more work to do to get to where he needs to be. He will only have more spritely energy as the pounds come off, and Newman is ready to find his forever home. Ask to meet him today!

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Ginger, who was saved from a shelter in New Mexico. She is a 7-8 year old clear red girl, with natural ears and a docked tail. She weighs about 11 lbs. She is a wonderful little dog! You will be hard-pressed to find a happier or more loving companion. Housetrained using a doggie door, is crate trained, and great with other dogs. Kitties, however, are not her favorite. She needs a dog-savvy cat that knows how to defend itself, or a cat-free home. Ginger is a discerning barker - she makes sure there is a 'threat' before sounding the alarm when someone is at the door or close to the yard. She loves people and likes to follow her ... (Read More)foster family around wherever they go. She actually has tons of energy for a dog her age, so might surprise you! And, when it's time to cuddle up on the couch, she is up for the task and will give you kisses to show her appreciation. Ginger can't wait for a forever family of her very own - will it be yours?     Miniature Pinschers are called Zwergpinschers in Germany, which literally means Dwarf Biter. Miniature Pinschers are not considered to be a toy breed in their native Germany; they are one of the oldest Terriers. The Miniature Pinscher is affectionately called the Min Pin. Miniature Pinschers are often mistakenly called Miniature Dobermans, but they are not related to Doberman Pinschers.
