**Courtesy post for another rescue** Bella, true to her name, and is a gorgeous young lady! She is a 2 year old clear red Min Pin, and all natural - meaning she has the ears and tail she was born with! She is 100% potty trained, which is a wonderful thing in a younger Pin! She gets along really well with other dogs of all sizes, and even cats! Bella just adores people and is a loyal, loving girl. She hasn't been around children before, but we think she would be fine, so long as they are gentle with her. She would be an incredible addition to any family looking for a Min Pin to join their family!

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant

If you are looking for a true Min Pin, look no further than Annie! She is a 4 year old Min Pin, with a beautiful ear crop and a docked tail. She weighs about 8 lbs, and is housetrained on a schedule, as well as crate trained. She is learning to use a doggie door in her foster home. Annie was not properly socialized to people or other dogs in her early years, and tends to be a little snappy and insecure until she feels comfortable in her environment. For this reason, Annie needs an experienced home that will be consistent in enforcing rules and boundaries, and will not be placed in a home with children under 10. Once Annie is ... (Read More)comfortable, she is energetic, likes to play fetch, play with toys, and act the Min Pin. She has plenty of energy to keep up with an active family! Mimi is going to make a lucky family a wonderfully devoted pup, so contact us if that family is yours!

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Alfie is a super handsome chocolate and tan Pinner, with naturally standing ears and a docked tail. He's about 6 years old, and ready for his new life! He was found as a stray and his family identified, but they said the didn't want him any more - are they crazy or what?! He is so handsome, has plenty of energy for whatever activities his new family undertakes, and plenty of cuddle energy for reading books, watching TV, and spending quality time together. He is very smiley and wants to please his humans! He's great with other dogs and older kids, but hasn't been around those kitty-folk before. If Alfie tugs at your heartstrings, don't ... Rescue Me ID: 14-10-13-00646Butch (male)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Butch is a 7 year old Min Pin, with natural ears and a docked tail. We are sure that he has quite a story to tell, but since he hasn't figured out how to form words, we can only guess at his past (which isn't very pretty). He was found as a stray and his owner was identified, but decided he wasn't wanted any more and didn't come to pick him up. Butch does *try* to tell you how he is feeling - he is vocal and will let you know when he is feeling insecure, when he needs something, or of course, when someone comes to the door! Butch gets along well with other dogs, and children too (so long as they are gentle with him). He hasn't met any ... (Read More)kitties yet, but should be fine with dog savvy cats. He is housetrained on a schedule and an overall easy guy to have around! Butch is a lower energy Min Pin - he doesn't mind going for walks and does well on a leash, but he won't go crazy if he doesn't have a walk every day. Like all good Min Pins, he loves to snuggle, and is looking forward to a home with laps and cozy blankets to welcome in the impending winter. Is his new home yours? (Less)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Peanut is a sweet and cuddly, 6 year old Min Pin. He is clear red, with a docked tail and cropped ears (a really nice ear crop!). He is housetrained, friendly and happy. He gets along great with people and dogs, but does NOT like cats and will chase and bite them if given the chance. He enjoys being outside and must have a 6 foot fence, as he can jump up straight into the air about 5 feet. Peanut loves to snuggle under the covers on the bed or lay with you on the sofa and watch some TV. He would do best with an active, dog experienced family. He hasn't been around any children that we know of, but we think he'd be fine, so long as ... (Read More)they are gentle with him. If you are a runner or a hiker, this would be a great dog for you! Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Ginger, who was saved from a shelter in New Mexico. She is a 7-8 year old clear red girl, with natural ears and a docked tail. She weighs about 11 lbs. She is a wonderful little dog! You will be hard-pressed to find a happier or more loving companion. Housetrained using a doggie door, is crate trained, and great with other dogs. Kitties, however, are not her favorite. She needs a dog-savvy cat that knows how to defend itself, or a cat-free home. Ginger is a discerning barker - she makes sure there is a 'threat' before sounding the alarm when someone is at the door or close to the yard. She loves people and likes to follow her ... (Read More)foster family around wherever they go. She actually has tons of energy for a dog her age, so might surprise you! And, when it's time to cuddle up on the couch, she is up for the task and will give you kisses to show her appreciation. Ginger can't wait for a forever family of her very own - will it be yours?     Miniature Pinschers are called Zwergpinschers in Germany, which literally means Dwarf Biter. Miniature Pinschers are not considered to be a toy breed in their native Germany; they are one of the oldest Terriers. The Miniature Pinscher is affectionately called the Min Pin. Miniature Pinschers are often mistakenly called Miniature Dobermans, but they are not related to Doberman Pinschers.
