Miniature Pinscher    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

'Hi everyone, I'm Misha! Please excuse my not-so-flattering picture - they took it in the shelter, where I'm really scared. Can you see the worried look in my eyes? I was found as a stray in Kansas, but am excited to now be in Colorado, where I'll find my fur-ever home! I'm a young girl, about 3 years old, and all-natural, meaning I've got my gorgeous ears and tail I was born with! I've had a rough start to my life so far, but I'm really blossoming in my temporary foster home - getting more sweet and confident every day! I'm looking for a patient family, who will give me guidance and training to help me reach my full potential. Let's ... (Read More)meet soon and fall in love!' (Less)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

***Courtesy Post*** Buddy is currently located in a shelter in Divide, CO. He has been there for over 2 months with no adoption interest, so he needs a foster (so we can take him into rescue) or adopter ASAP! Like many Min Pins in a shelter environment, he doesn't 'show' well, and we'd like to get him out ASAP so he doesn't deteriorate further! My name is Buddy and I hope you are looking for a new best buddy because I really want to be your new best furrever friend! I am 7 years old, black and tan, with natural ears and a docked tail. I am a feisty fellow with a lot of love to share. I think I am a big guy and will show that with deep ... (Read More)tenacity when I am in my kennel. Here is a little secret about me though: I put on a big show but once I am out of my kennel I am a big love! Because of my big dog attitude, I would probably do best in a home with no young children. I do hope you come by soon to meet my dynamic self, I know we will become fast friends. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-22-00294Peanut (male)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Peanut is a sweet and cuddly, 6 year old Min Pin. He is clear red, with a docked tail and cropped ears (a really nice ear crop!). He is housetrained, friendly and happy. He gets along great with people and dogs, but does NOT like cats and will chase and bite them if given the chance. He enjoys being outside and must have a 6 foot fence, as he can jump up straight into the air about 5 feet. Peanut loves to snuggle under the covers on the bed or lay with you on the sofa and watch some TV. He would do best with an active, dog experienced family. He hasn't been around any children that we know of, but we think he'd be fine, so long as ... (Read More)they are gentle with him. If you are a runner or a hiker, this would be a great dog for you!     This Mini Pin was given to me from my brother in which he acquired through his truck driving job. He is not house broken and I do not have the time to train him. No papers but he seems to obviously be a purebred. No adoption fee, we are just looking for a good home.

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-19-00121Maddie (female)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Introducing Maddie! She is a sweet young girl, about 2 years old, who is 'all natural' - natural ears and tail. She weighs about 10.5 lbs. She is quite timid at first and takes some time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is loving and affectionate. Maddie is great with other dogs, and respectful of cats. Because she is timid, we suggest no children under 10. Maddie is housetrained using a doggie door, and crate trained as well. She is a good guard dog and alerts when someone comes to the door or too close to her yard. Maddie is very playful with other dogs once she is comfortable in her surroundings, and is going to ...     Say hello to Newman! He is a 5 year old Pinner, with natural ears and a docked tail. He was loved a little too much in his previous home, and as a result is overweight. His caring and dedicated foster home has already gotten his weight down in just a few weeks, but he has more work to do to get to where he needs to be. Despite the extra pounds, Newman is an incredible companion. He is loving, silly, and sweet - oh, and housetrained, too! He will only have more spritely energy as the pounds come off, and Newman is ready to find his forever home. Ask to meet him today!

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Ginger, who was saved from a shelter in New Mexico. She is a 7-8 year old clear red girl, with natural ears and a docked tail. She weighs about 11 lbs. She is a wonderful little dog! You will be hard-pressed to find a happier or more loving companion. Housetrained using a doggie door, is crate trained, and great with other dogs. Kitties, however, are not her favorite. She needs a dog-savvy cat that knows how to defend itself, or a cat-free home. Ginger is a discerning barker - she makes sure there is a 'threat' before sounding the alarm when someone is at the door or close to the yard. She loves people and likes to follow her ... (Read More)foster family around wherever they go. She actually has tons of energy for a dog her age, so might surprise you! And, when it's time to cuddle up on the couch, she is up for the task and will give you kisses to show her appreciation. Ginger can't wait for a forever family of her very own - will it be yours?
