Rescue Me ID: 15-03-03-00489Stuart (male)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Young Adult

Having some fun today?? Former pound pup ready to stop chasing (my) tail and find the girl or boy of my dreams. No more stray bars for me! I am a mature (about 5 yrs old...old enough to shave but still a boy at heart!), neutered, approx 11 pound min pin mix!! I am looking for a life partner to share cozy evenings at home with, curled up on the couch. I am extremely loyal, and even get along with cats and other dogs! I am potty trained, crate trained, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations too. I love toys but would love a home of my own more. I'm STUART and I'm all that and then some. If you are my special someone, contact ... (Read More)Vickie@caretx.com (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-26-00121Benji (male)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

What a little snuggle bug Benji is! This 9lb 4MO doxi/min pin mix is just a cutest bundle of love. Benji was found as just a little baby on the streets of Houston, TX. He was scared and cold, being found on the coldest day of the year in Texas. A very nice civilian took Benji and his two sisters to the closest animal shelter, thinking they were doing the right thing, but in reality, very few dogs make it out of the shelter alive. Farfel's Rescue was not going to let this little family be euthanized, so we spoke up for them, and oh man are we glad we did! Benji has just stolen everyones heart here at Farfel's Rescue. When he is a ... (Read More)little nervous he will bury his head in your neck, and wrap his arms around yours, as if he was giving you a hug. He warms up very quickly, and loves to play. He pounces on his toys and wags his whole little butt when he is trying to play with you. His foster mom just raves about how much she loves him, and how much fun they have together. Even though he has the face and ears of a dachshund, he has the legs of a miniature pincher. This is great for a small hiking or running buddy. He is just the perfect size for a lap dog, but also a dog that wants to be outdoors with you. On top of his beautiful coloring and adorable ears, he just has the cutest little underbite in the world. He looks like he is permanently smiling! His fur is longer and softer than a pure bread min pin, and it feels like the silky fur of a long haired dachshund, just not AS long. Benji has been working very hard on potty training and pretty much has it down. He learns so quickly! Benji also loves other dogs and would be very happy to have a brother or sister to play with. He is just a very easy going dog and loves everybody and everything, even kids! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING BENJI, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AT FARFEL'S RESCUE.COM (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-12-00285Lexie (female)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lexie is a beautiful girl with a sad story! Her family dumped her at a kill shelter in California for 'barking'. Knowing an older gal had very little chance of getting adopted, we saved her precious life. When we got her out, we noticed that one of her eyes had something wrong with it. A trip to the vet revealed a corneal ulcer (which are VERY painful - no wonder she was barking!). Shame on her owners for not getting her the care she needed and leaving her to be killed! Unfortunately her eye couldn't be saved, so she had it removed. She is now pain-free, all healed up, and feeling great! She gets around just fine with her one good ... (Read More)eye, and it is hard to imagine a more sweet or loving dog. She is very smiley, and very happy! Barking is not a problem at all - she barks when someone comes to the door, or is too close to the yard, but that is just what a good Min Pin should do! Lexie is about 10 years old (Min Pins usually live well into their teens!), with cropped ears and a docked tail. She weighs 11 lbs. Lexie is housetrained, crate trained, and happy-go-lucky. She will make you laugh with her antics at feeding time - she tap dances like the best of them! Lexie is a go-with-the-flow kind of a dog. She loves to be with people and spend lots of time cuddling, and gets along great with other dogs (big and small). We think she would be fine with cats and older children as well. There is not a dog more deserving of a true FOREVER home than Lexie, so if she has a place with you, contact us today! (Less)

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tanis is a great Dog but a family divorse has left me unable to care for him and the Mother (ex-wife)is also unable to care for him as she is out of state. He attatched himself to my ex-wife so I believe he will be a great dog for a woman. It may take a bit for him to get familiar with new faces as he doesnt get out much. This wasnt my first choice but I dont want to see something happen to him because he truly is a good dog....... Thnx

Max is a sweet boy, about 6 years old, and on the larger side for a Min Pin, at about 18 lbs. He's not overweight - just a sturdy guy! Max came to us from Southern CA, and he is ready to explore Mile High Living! He is more mellow than many of his younger counterparts, and loves to cuddle and be with his people. He is great with other dogs, cats, and older children, too! If Max sounds like just the right speed for your family, let us know!
