Rescue Me ID: 17-08-21-00389Foxie (female)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This is Foxie. She is about 3 years old. When surrendered we were told she was a 'Designer' dog called a 'Pineranian' - all that really means is she is a mixed breed Pomeranian and a Miniature Pinscher. The person who had her only had her for about a week and a half and can't keep her - we can only speculate about anything beyond when she got to us. No shots, not spayed, no medical information - NOTHING. She is purportedly housebroken, good with other dogs and likes to play with cats. As of the day she came to us her life starting changing - now spayed, her shots are now current, she is heartworm tested and we will be looking for a ... (Read More)'forever' home for her - not just an overnight stop. She is very sweet - and just a tiny thing. She looks like a little fox. She is about 12 lbs. She is very quiet - we haven't even heard her bark. She does well in a crate and when ready to go outside she goes right to the door. She is a little afraid if approached too quickly but that is normal after getting surrendered to a shelter.
