Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ ALL THE INFORMATION PROVIDED TO LEARN ALL ABOUT BEVERLEY, HER LOCATION AND ADOPTION OPTIONS. BEVERLEY is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, heart-worm tested negative, de-wormed and micro-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 24 July 2015 and weighs approximately 23 pounds.%BD'%BD%BD BEVERLEY originally came from a high kill shelter in Texas and was on route to another rescue, I'm not sure what happened but I received a call from the transport company asking if I could take in two more dogs, BEVERLEY was one of these. Her medical notes show that she did have deciduous teeth retained, however, they was ... (Read More)extracted in August 2016. BEVERLEY is a sweet girl who is very affectionate and would lie on my lap all day if she could. When not hanging out she loves to play with the other dogs and chase around. She is very responsive and I believe she would easily achieve basic and advanced obedience training. BEVERLEY can be aggressive when she has food and with toys, so although she is great with other dogs when food or toys are not involved, unless the family is willing and able to work with her, I would suggest a family where she is the only dog. It was noted on her paperwork that she was scared and could be aggressive when in a cage, which all put together makes me believe that at some point she has been abused. Other than the food and toys issues, which are easily workable by keeping her separate whilst eating and monitoring all play with toys, she is the sweetest girl ever. BEVERLEY would like a family that has the time to give her the love and understanding that she missed out on as a puppy and let her snuggle up on the sofa, or go for nice walks together. We currently feed SPORTMIX Wholesomes Chicken Meal & Rice Formula, a 4* (a per www.dogfoodadvisor.com) GRAIN FREE food along with pro-bioitics and immune support supplements listed on the available dogs page! We do not have cats at the rescue so we are unable to say how any of our dogs would react around cats. BEVERLEY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $500. This fee is not negotiable and is used to cover the rescue costs of pulling, vetting, health certificate, transport from Texas to Maine, monthly preventatives, supplements, food and anything else that is needed. If you feel that you have the heart and home to give this precious stunning girl a wonderful life, please go to our website, under the APPLICATION tab, complete, then submit the APPLICATION. Our process takes around 2-4 days, and ensuring your references are aware that we will be calling, could speed up the process. Once you have been approved, we discuss any questions in regards to the dog you are wanting to adopt, then you complete and submit the contract, make payment and then we can work out the pick up / transport arrangements. Please do NOT submit an application if you are not looking to take home a new best friend within the next few weeks. http://www.giveadogahome-sanantonio.org/application.html BEVERLEY is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls. Families will need to be prepared to travel to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. There is a local hotel in Dover-Foxcroft that is pet-friendly (approx 6 miles) and several in Bangor (approx 45 miles). There are also lots of wonderful camp-sites for the more adventurous families and what a great way to get to know your new best friend. If there are options to arrange transport, we will work with you to make it happen. (Less)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Health: Vaccinations Current

Hello, I'm Spencer! I came here from St. Thomas almost 3 months ago and I haven't been able find my perfect furever family. I will be 4 in about a month, don't make me celebrate my birthday here! I'm a terrier mix and quite handsome if I do say so myself! I'm not nearly as big as most of the dogs here (only 40 lbs) and I walk well on a leash. I am very friendly once you get me out of my kennel, even though I'm standoffish and loud when I'm inside there and I love attention. I don't want to live with other animals or small kids, but I love all adults I meet. Could I be your perfect companion? Come meet me and find out!

Miniature Pinschers are not considered to be a toy breed in their native Germany; they are one of the oldest Terriers. Miniature Pinschers are often mistakenly called Miniature Dobermans, but they are not related to Doberman Pinschers.
