|Rescue Me ID: 17-12-16-00320Nigel (male)|
Little Nigel is available for adoption! This tiny, 8 lb. guy is a bit on the shy side. Having lived with one family for all of his 3 years, he is a bit of a scaredy-dog when it comes to new things. When he first came into his foster home, he would hide under the table or in his bed in a crate. Within 2 days though he was venturing out and hopping up into his foster mom's lap for naps or into his foster dad's arms to be carried around. When new people visit, he chooses to run upstairs and observe from afar. Nigel is excellent with dogs and cats. Although he doesn't engage in play with them, he is friendly. Nigel doesn't really know how to play but he is eager to learn. A confident doggie sibling could be a great teacher. A quiet boy, Nigel is perfect for apartment living. A home without children would be ideal. Pee-pad trained, Nigel is working on becoming fully housebroken with the help of his foster parents. He is hoping to find a patient, loving home where he will be given the time he needs to feel safe and secure. Ring in the new year with this bundle of joy! Nigel is neutered, and will be microchipped and up to date on vaccines before adoption. Nigel is being fostered in Worcester MA. The adoption fee is $ 350. If you are interested in finding out more about Nigel, please fill out an application on our website by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://www.brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application/ We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet. 'Like' Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook! NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 17-09-06-00620Tosh (male)|
Tosh was surrendered to a local kill shelter where owner surrenders get put down right away with no chance of getting on the adoption floor. Tosh is 6 years old and is a fantastic Chihuahua/Min Pin mix with traits of both breeds. The lady scheduled him to be destroyed just because she said he would be getting on her nerves. We just happen to be present when she walked in and were able to talk her into surrendering him to us instead of having him euthanized. He does very well with dogs off all sizes and genders. He is a lover, housebroken and would make the perfect companion for anybody. If you would like to fill out an application for Tosh please send us a message DO NOT FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ONLINE! ONLY VIA E MAIL CAN YOU RECEIVE THE PROPER FORMS! IMPORTANT: Tosh is located in GA. We do NOT have a shelter in the MA area. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Georgia and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. His adoption fee is $ 425 which includes transport cost and health certificate, all vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chip (Less)
