I am an adorable little 5 year old 20 pound guy. I am good with other dogs, cats, kids and farm animals. I am happy, sweet, affectionate, cute and energetic. I love life and I love people and I love attention and play time. I had a home but my owner can not take care of me anymore. I am sad about that, but I am ready to live more. I know tricks and I know I can make you smile a lot!

|Rescue Me ID: 14-10-06-00139Bosley (male)|
DOB: 4/24/11,Approx.. Weight: 20 Lbs. $175 adoption fee includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Bosley originally came to Furry Kids' as a puppy and was returned as a young adult. The family was worried that the high activity of young children in the household made him nervous and was causing him stress. We were told Bosley's mother was a Cocker Spaniel and we do not know what his father was, possibly Miniature Pinscher or Chihuahua, or Terrier? Bosley is now in a foster home with many other dogs. He is curious and friendly and having fun! Bosley is housebroken and crate trained. He is very well behaved and fairly active (especially outside). He does like to play fetch and does enjoy investigating in the back yard. He would do best with a fence to keep him safe and his nose in line! Bosley also loves to go on walks and does great on the leash! Bosley does growl at other dogs who approach his crate when he is eating, but that is not uncommon. His foster Mom said that when all dogs are getting treats there are no issues. Bosley loves to play with dogs his size and smaller! Please no small children or highly active households for Bosley. Families with teenage children or older would be best for Bosley, another companion dog would make him happy as well, but not necessary. Bosley has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Bosley, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 13-12-15-00411Brooks (male)|
We were told Brooks is a Min Pin mix but its hard to know for sure....he has the size, the stubby tail and the energy of one !!! Brooks was released to Furry Kids' Refuge from a family who couldn't take him with them when they moved. Brooks was in a home with school age children and a big Lab that he loved dearly. He is such a sweet, loving little dog. The family told us he was housebroke and we know he is crate trained because he is in our boarding facility waiting for a foster home to open up and never soils in his kennel. Brooks rides really well in the car and even does well walking on a leash. Brooks would do best in a home without kitties....he doesn't understand that cats are more fragile than dogs, so he wants to play with them and chew on them like he does with his doggie playmates. So he would be too rough with cats and could unintentionally hurt them. Please give this little furry kid a chance to enrich your life by filling out a application to meet/adopt him. Brooks has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. He is also on monthly heartworm prevention to help ensure he remains healthy. If you are interested in adopting Brooks, please fill out an adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back with you as soon as possible.
