Rescue Me ID: 17-11-15-00173Blossom (female)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Blossom was part of a group of dogs seized by animal control from a backyard breeder. The breeder kept the dogs together in pens, some inside and some outside. The outside dogs had no shelter and the dogs in the 'breeding trailer' were shut in with no fresh air. Neither inside nor outside dogs had food or water and all were standing in an accumulation of feces. Some of the dogs needed medical attention they didn't receive, and all were covered with fleas. Now all of this is behind them. They have all been fed, cleaned up and taken to the vet for medical care. The dogs are sweet and understandably a little scared. They will need patience and ... (Read More)nurturing to help them learn what its like to be loved and part of a family. Blossom was a little more shy than the others but has come out of her shell. Once she warms up and knows you will be kind to her she is very sweet and just wants to be in your lap. She loves attention and treats. Blossom is not recommended for any one with young children as their energetic activity would likely scare her. Blossom is a black and tan min pin female about 8 years old, 9 pounds and has had a dental cleaning as part of her vetting. Please help Blossom find the loving home she deserves. Rescue Me ID: 17-06-24-00063Ben (male)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Ben is seven years old and he was surrendered to the kill shelter with his brother Jerry. They cannot be adopted together because together they become very protective and not social. When they are separated they are both wonderfully affectionate and social dogs. Then is about 11 pounds, and really loves the ladies! He is more frightened of men but not aggressive. He would do best in a home without small children as he's a tad more skittish then his brother. They both get along with other dogs that are of small breed. The shelter has given us some extra time to find him a home and we really hope someone will step up to save their lives.
