Meet Izzy, a very sweet, loving, and special pup. I have had her since she was about 5 weeks old. Our vet said her birthday is probably September 25,2013 by looking at her when she was a baby. She was given to me by a friend who found her in the rain hiding under a lawn chair in her yard. I took her in and she has been my baby ever since. I am having to rehome her because we moved and during the lease signing I was told there would be a $500 pet fee so needless to say my husband is not letting me keep her. She is very attached to me. She is house broken and kennel trained but only stays in the kennel if we are not home. She will let you know ... (Read More)(most of the time)if she needs to go out to potty. She does NOT like going out alone for some reason so I stay out with her until she has finished her business. If my kids are out with her she is fine too. She loves outside but only if someone is with her. She LOVES bath time but not for the bath. She is constantly trying to get IN the tub with my son. She would probably love a kiddy pool outside in the summer. She is very playful, loves her babies (stuffed animals)and loves to play fetch and chase with my children. She is use to sleeping in mine or my daughter's beds UNDER the blankets curled up next to us. If she does sleep with my daughter she usually finds her way back to me in the middle of the night. We do a potty break then its back to bed. She is VERY content laying with me all day if I am not feeling well cuddled up next to me under the blanket. This is how she has been and sleeps since she was a tiny baby. She loves car rides but will bark at people passing by. She is VERY protective of me. She thinks she is much larger than she really is. I like to call it little dog syndrome. She barks at strangers A LOT but will calm down once she smells them out. She seems more skittish around men though. She is not real fond of smaller children (UNDER 5), they tend to scare her when they go after her. She has been around other dogs and cats but has never lived with them. She did very well with my sister's Beagle when they stayed with us for a couple of months and also a Yorkie. I will want to do a home visit and check with your vet to make sure all is well. I will also want to keep in contact to check up on her to see how she is adjusting away from me. If for ANY reason you are unable to care for her you can contact me and I will take her back and find her another home. The last thing I want to do is give her up. She is my baby. I want the BEST home environment for her. So if you are not serious and can not care for her how she is used to, please, do not contact me BUT if you can and want to give her the loving home she deserves and is use to PLEASE give me a call. You will LOVE her I know it! (Less)
