Rescue Me ID: 17-02-02-00199Rocky (male)
Rocky has become defensive and will not allow our friends and family to let him out of his crate when we go away. He barks and seems to be in defensive mode whenever anyone besides my husband, our children, and I are around. We need to find him a place because we can no longer trust anyone to help us with him when we are away for the night. He is affectionate to us and is pretty much a lap dog until someone else outside the family is scene outside the house or enters our house. We need someone that has the patience to acclimate him socially to humans and adults.

Rescue Me ID: 17-01-12-00072FAITH AND JOY (female)
These two lovely sisters are precious and just the sweetest little girls. They've been together all of their lives and it's no doubt how much they love each other. I actually watched them stand up and give each other a hug but who has a camera when you need it. Joy and Faith are up for adoption as a bonded pair and the adoption fee is for both girls. Joy is the more timid of the two and relies on her sister's cues but it is more then obvious that as long as they're together, they're world is right. Being at the rescue kennel since last April, they've become the volunteer's favorite duo. But it's time they had a home and a person of their own. FAITH and JOY are athletic and active and love to run around. Both of these unique looking dogs would be the perfect fit for anyone who wants small dogs (they weigh only 15lbs) but also happy pups that love long walks and have lots of stamina for active play sessions with other dogs and humans. If your interested in more info on these two sweeties, email email@example.com Please share. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-02-00172Stormy (female)
Our family has a 8-10 yr old min pin named Stormy. She has had chronic dry eye prior to her adoption. She also has 2 luxating patella but still jets around . Unfortunately she has recently bitten two pit bulls & luckily their bite inhibition is amazing & she is fine/ the pit has a bite. Both my home & the home of my daughter have two big pits & we are desperate. We adore Stormy but unless she is in a home w/no other animals she is a danger to herself & others & will most certainly live a more restricted life. We can bring her back to PAWS Philadelphia but life, even in a no -kill shelter, will be awful for her. She lives to snuggle with her person & is really very sweet. She walks well on a leash & would need a fenced yard If left unattended as her eyesight is limited. We need a miracle; a person who is is retired or works from home, with no other pets & time to snuggle. Thank you, Denise (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-11-00521Lexie (female)
[Read About Natural Seizure Care] This is Lexie. I have had her approximately for 5 years and she is between 8-9 years old. She is crate trained. She does have seizures on occasion and all you can do is hold her. Afterward she is fine. She would do best with an adult that has time for her to be the center of attention. Due to a change in work, Lexie us in her crate far too much and does not get exercise. She loves to be in your lap and sleeps under your covers at night. She would love to go with you EVERYWHERE. She is food obsessed, but not aggressive if you reach into her bowl. However if she has something she isn't supposed to have she will growl at you if you try to take it away. I think she would be a fantastic companion for someone with a lot of time to spend with her. She loves positive attention. Please consider adopting her to give her a better life where she can go on walks and spend the day being at your side. Thank you. (Less)
