Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Adult

Hi I am Hershey and I am a 6 year old Min Pin mix. I weigh about 10 pounds and I am full grown. I am a laid back friendly guy looking for a laid back loving family. I had a family at one time and I do not know what I did wrong but they dumped me at a kill shelter. I was so confused. I mean I am the perfect dog. I am house broken, I don't need a crate, I don't chew things, I love other dogs, I am great with kids and I even like cats. What more could you ask for from a guy? Oh well on ward and up ward! I need a loving lap and a loyal best friend. I won't bounce off your walls and drive you nuts. I just want you and the family. You know me ... (Read More)curled up on the foot stool while you eat dinner, maybe chill on the couch after wards in your lap and watch some tv. Maybe go for a few walks, take in the neighborhood. Ah a guy sure can dream. I have a lot of life left to live and a lot to love to give, may I please give it to you? (Less)

Animal ID: D150055Shady Ray (male)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Shady Ray ***Sweet Senior***'s Story... This dog is located and fostered in Tennessee. Minimum Adoption Donation $100 in TN, $150 plus transportation fee for out of state adoptions. Adoption fee waived for local TN Senior Adopters. Shady Ray is an experienced pup who already knows what it takes to be man's best friend! Meet Shady Ray, the sweet little senior Chihuahua mix (8-10 years old, about 12 pounds) who already has years of practice in the fine art of friendship!! This wonderful little man was a constant companion his entire life when his owner unfortunately passed away. Shady Ray was sad at first, but he still has so much love to ... (Read More)give and he has warmed up nicely to his foster mom! He would make an absolute perfect companion for a retiree, or any family that would love and care for him just as he is. He s more than content to occupy himself quietly by lazing about, catching some daydreams while you are at work. Shady Ray would prefer to lay quietly in his own little bed than be an always-on-your-lap kind of dog. He would actually prefer a quiet home without many goings-on. He also gets along fine with other animals, should you have any, but still generally prefers to keep to himself. Shady Ray does not want to run any marathons, but as an older fella, he has stiff joints, and could definitely use some short walks to make sure he does not get uncomfortable. This little dog is such a wonderful companion--he demands very little, and he gives so much love in return! He is such a sweet soul. So won't you consider adopting a senior like Shady Ray? Their bodies might be old, but their heart are made of gold! (Less)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Rugby's Info... I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats. Rugby's Story... This dog is located and fostered in Tennessee. Minimum Adoption Donation $150 in TN, $200 plus transportation fee for out of state adoptions. Rugby is a very affectionate pup who LOVES everybody! He loves both men and women and is good with kids. He really enjoys playing with other dogs and still has lots of puppy energy at about 8 months old. Rugby likes the cats in his foster home and can't understand why they don't want to play with him. He weighs about 40 pounds and we expect he could be a medium to large ... (Read More)dog at adulthood. He's crate trained and leash trained and doing well with housetraining, Rugby's learning to sit on command and has learned to fetch in his foster home. Squeaky toys provide endless fun! Rugby came to us from a hoarding situation and has a scar on his rump that resulted from an unknown injury as a puppy. We don't know the details, but it doesn't cause him any pain. Rugby is a sweet, gangly boy who is growing into his long legs and is quiet, not a barker. Rugby is a sweet, healthy puppy who is ready for his Forever Home. (Less)
