Animal ID: Star (Seattle WA)Star (WA) (female)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Unlike her pal, Ringo, Star would not be happy being a super social butterfly. Star is clearly part chihuahua, but she also has long, long legs for a classic chi, so we guess that she is either mixed with an Italian greyhound, or is a deer-legged Chihuahua. This 2 year-old pup is sweet as honey and would prefer life to move forward as a lap dog. She is working on walking well on a leash, is easy to train and is housebroken. She is up to date on shots and spayed. While we cannot speak to her experience with cats, or chickens, or ferrets, we know that Star does NOT enjoy children. This pint-sized love bug needs a quiet home where she can be ... (Read More)shown that the world is an okay place. Star does not bark and shows very little emotion. She will not defend herself when attacked/ bullied by another dog. Something has happened to this little girl and she needs the space and time and quiet (and the lap) to get back a life where she feels comfortable zoning out in a sunbeam and burrowing in blankets with her person nearby. Star currently resides at our Washington rescue. Adoption fee is $350.00. Transport may be available to approved adopters. Contact Journeyhomerescue@outlook.com. (Less)

Animal ID: Ringo (Seattle WA)Ringo (WA) (male)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Ringo, is a typical 'little man' dog. He has buddies at his foster and they run around together and play all day. He gets along great with other small dogs and if there were a small dog play group in his future, he would not mind. : ) . He loves people, belly rubs, zoning out in a sun beam and burrowing in blankets or pillows. If he is missing, you might also check the nearest clothes hamper. And speaking of missing, we are very serious when we say this delightful little boy is a HOUDINI, a master escape artist and a jail breaker. If there's a space in or under the fence, he's gone. If the kennel lid is not on correctly, he is gone. If the ... (Read More)babysitter leaves the door open to get the last load of groceries from the car? He's gone. That's clear, right? It's clear that Ringo is a 1 year old chihuahua, but he has long, long legs for a classic chi, so we guess that he is either mixed with an Italian greyhound, or he is a deer-legged Chihuahua/ Min Pin. Either way, he is really stunning, and he can motor! He is working on walking well on a leash. He is eay to train and housebroken. He is up to date on his shots and neutered (sorry, dude.) While we cannot speak to his experience with cats, or chickens, or ferrets, we know that Ringo does NOT get along well with young children. Ringo needs a household with children over 13 and very dog respectful. Ringo is clever and funny and waiting for a home to call his own, or share with other small dogs, but not small people. Ringo currently resides at our Washington rescue. Adoption fee is $350.00. Transport may be available to approved adopters. Contact Journeyhomerescue@outlook.com. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-07-21-00464  (male)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

My husband and I are looking for someone to take in our two min pins. Boy and girl, and they must stay together. They are very sweet and loving. We rescued them initially but due to unforseen circumstances, sadly we cannot keep them at our new apartment. They are good with people and older children. We are asking for a small re-homing only because we want to make sure they go to a good and loving home.

Rescue Me ID: 17-03-11-00288Joseph (male)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Darling Joseph! This little guy is about 18mo old, weighs approx 9lbs... and is very leggy! He can be a bit shy when first meeting new people but with just a few minutes and a couple of treats, he quickly becomes an affectionate, social boy. He LOVES to play with other dogs and must have another, like size dog in the home. Joseph is fully crate trained and potty trained. He loves to go on walks and will do a little dance when he sees the leash and harness come out. Joseph will do best in an experienced home that can help build his confidence. Because he's a bit insecure, kids must be over 14yrs old.

Miniature Pinschers are not considered to be a toy breed in their native Germany; they are one of the oldest Terriers. Miniature Pinschers have been depicted in art for centuries. Miniature Pinschers are often mistakenly called Miniature Dobermans, but they are not related to Doberman Pinschers.
