Rescue Me ID: 16-07-01-00678Cinnamon (female)

Miniature Pinscher Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

*Due to the large volume of inquiries we receive, we will not be able to respond to emails or phone calls until an adoption application has been submitted first.** Cinnamon is a 7 year old tricolor dapple Dachshund Miniature Pinscher mix who was in danger of being euthanized at a high kill shelter due to her age. She was surrendered by her owners because they were going on vacation for July 4th - they had had her since she was a puppy and didn't think twice about dumping her at the shelter! Cinnamon walks with a slight limp due to an old fracture on her left paw. The vets say that it has healed and nothing can be done to fix it. She is ... (Read More)spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Cinnamon weighs 13 lbs and has such a sweet personality. She gets along with other dogs and loves people. We haven't had Cinnamon around children or cats yet, so we're not sure what she thinks of them. If you're looking for a lovely lady who deserves a second chance at life, Cinnamon is the gal for you! Cinnamon has a $300 adoption fee. **We update our listings minutes after dogs have been adopted, so if a dog is still listed, they are still waiting to meet their forever family!** (Less)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Seizures

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] I have a 9 1/2 year old min pin I need to rehome but it must be to the right fitting home. She is a registered pure bred. She is in need of a quiet home preferably no other dogs since she thrives on attention. I do have other dogs and she gets along well with them though. Ideally I really want to find someone who can be with her and give her lots of love.... A senior maybe She gets stressed and grumpy with small children so I definitely want a kid free home. She has developed seizures the past couple months and vet recommended anti seizure medication and quoted 20.00 a month. I was hoping change of ... (Read More)diet would stop seizures and they had lessened but she is still getting them which means medication is now the only option I know. I'm financially struggling and can't afford another outgoing payment. Also I have adrenal insufficiency and specialist says stress is hard on the adrenals and I am stressing majorly over this. She is a lap dog and loves to just be laying with me all day when I am resting. She has never met an adult she doesn't love. She also LOVES her nightly walks. If you feel you are a good fit let me know and we would love to meet with you. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-21-00314Bentley (male)

Miniature Pinscher    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Very High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Bentley is a cropped and docked 4 year old MinPin who was surrendered by his owner at a high kill shelter in California approximately one year ago. He was rescued by LP4R shortly afterward. Bentley is a high anxiety and high energy boy so he will need an owner who is familiar with the breed, as well as dogs who are leash reactive. We believe he may have been tethered outside and trained as a guard dog before we got him. He will need consistent exercise and training and a special person to turn him around, but despite it all he really does love people. He is a gentleman to bathe and will sit on your lap and give you gentle kisses when he ... (Read More)trusts you and is relaxed. He does well with most other dogs so long as they are not picking on or bullying him. He is on high alert a lot of the time, and will alert you of any passing dog or stranger but I think a stable environment could really help with that. He absolutely needs a stable environment and obedience classes with a professional to live a normal happy life. He would not do well in an environment with small animals he may view as prey or small children. He needs a calm home without rough housing or people who are going to be yelling/running about. Dog/leash reactive experienced adults only, preferably with training knowledge or a dog trainer in mind. (Less)
