     Thank you so much, Rescue Me! We rescued a miniature pinscher (Raskel) from a puppy mill who was temperamental due to being abused and neglected. Although he is beautiful, we knew it would be a challenge to place him. We were completely honest in his bio. Tonight we received a call from a lovely young lady who was so so excited to meet Raskel! I could tell she was close to tears with excitement when I told her he was still available. She came to the house an hour later. She was sold on Raskel right away. It took him a little bit to warm up to her, but she was awesome with him. She had a min pin before and completely understood his nature. We gave her his blanket, which she wrapped him in and she held him as he was on his back and she walked him out the door. We are so thrilled he has a wonderful human than understands his special nature and whom he trusts. She belongs to Raskel now and it's a beautiful thing.

     Thanks, Rescue Me, for giving Dobby the exposure. Fostering is a mixed bag. We only had Dobby for a little over a week. He's such a sweet guy and fit right into our two human, three Min Pin pack. I was heartbroken when I brought him over to meet his new pack. When I saw how much the kids loved him and how much he loved cuddling up with them it felt great and I just knew it was right. All rescues have stories. We all work hard to make sure their stories have happy endings.

     When we got Dobby it was because no one wanted him and he was going to be given to a pound. We knew he was blind, but we didn't know that he also had seizures. Another thing we didn't know was that we would be having a baby soon. We had Dobby for about a year, and he was such a sweetheart. When we had our baby though we couldn't provide him with the time that he needed because we had him, two other dogs, a cat, two boys, and a new baby girl. We posted him on here to try and find him a new family that could provide him with the love he needs. We were blessed that he found a wonderful home and we knew immediately it was the home for him. We were recently sent pictures from the new family and he is doing wonderfully and looks wonderfully spoiled. So happy and thankful for Rescue Me!

     Last Monday Luke and Pebbles drove a few hours north where they met their new furever parents. I couldn't be happier to report that everyone is adjusting well. They now have plenty of room to run, parents who are home almost all the time and can provide them with the love and attention and training they need! I am so grateful to Rescue Me and even more grateful to Regina for giving these guys the life I just couldn't! My heart is happy as I know they are in a wonderful place!!!

     I was able to place a pup named Layla through Rescue Me. She was taken back from an abusive home and posted here on this site. She got adopted by a nice family where she is very happy growing up with a three year old I could not be happier with her new family. She required a lot of work and attention when we took her back. I don't know what was done to her, but she would pee herself if you just looked at her. It took me about two weeks to work that fear out of her. I got very, very attached, but was not able to keep her. I had just had spinal surgery and working with her was what kept me sane because I was in a wheelchair for a while after surgery. Placing her with as a good family was very important to me. I was so attached. All in all, I recommend anyone looking to rehome their pet should use this site. I couldn't be happier with the placement and this site. It allowed me to get over 100 requests for Layla and find her the perfect home. I highly recommend this site, and I'm grateful for its help rehoming Layla.

A senior guy, like us, loving and affectionate he appreciates everything we do for him, even going to the vet to make sure he is healthy. Charlie is the best gift we have received in many years.      Last month we lost our 16 year old border collie. Our 10 year old Minpin, Vegas, was suffering depression so we started trying to find him a companion. We found Baby, a five year old female, on Rescue Me. Her family brought her over and after a couple of hours the two were best of friends. She is such a blessing to our family and to our Vegas. I am so thankful that we found her and so appreciative to her former parents for the how they took the time to visit and be sure she would be a good fit. She is!      I posted my beloved Lucas for adoption on Rescue Me. He is a wonderful dog and a great pet, but needed to be more active than I was able to provide. I knew he was bored, even though he was extremely loving and very handsome! I was extremely lucky to find the most wonderful family for him. Mother, father and two great teenagers, all very active and they have a large backyard for him to run and play. Although I miss him terribly, it gives me great pleasure to know he has a happy and loving home.

     I lost my Maltese on June 30th and was completely heartbroken. After many attempts to find the perfect dog for me, I had made my mind to just give up on finding a new dog to share life with. I logged onto the Rescue Me site for what was to be my last time. I looked at Maltese again, and no new postings. Finally, I decided to check out the Min Pin postings, as I used to have a Min Pin as well as a Maltese. It was there that I saw 'Andi'. I contacted Tysor Vet Clinic and made plans to come get Andi. They are the absolute best people in the world to work with. Very friendly, courteous, helpful, and most of all caring. I am very thankful to have found Andi, and very thankful for the opportunity to meet the folks at Tysor Vet Clinic.

     Though many of you know the beginning story of my life was not so good, but, let me tell you about the next chapter! My foster mommy put my picture here on Rescue Me, and I must of caused a lot of buzz because her phone rang all the time and I could hear her saying my name a lot. Then she got a call that made her cry. She told me that she found the perfect forever home for me. I was confused, I thought she was the perfect one? After putting all my special toys in the car we took a really long car ride where I laid on her lap for the last time. I guess I must of fallen asleep and when I woke up there was a beautiful lady standing outside the car window. I was startled and barked my loudest bark I thought I had to protect my foster mom. I then realized we were there. My new home and that beautiful lady on the other side of the window was my mommy. My mommies talked for a long time that day as I got to explore. I was sad when my foster mommy had to leave and she was too. She was crying and knew that this was hard for her. My mommy sends her pictures all the time of me and she is so happy. The best part of this story is my new mommy. I didn't think I could be loved so much. She protects me, cuddles me and makes me happy all the time. My foster mommy was right, this is the perfect forever home. I love my new mommy and daddy and I have a human brother and lots of dog cousins that my mommy babysits for. I am so happy my picture was put on here because if not I wouldn't of ever of found my mommy. I love her so much. Thank you Rescue Me for helping make my story ending such a wonderful one.      We adopted Rocky 12 days ago. He was having issues with trust. He has adjusted very well, although he still shows signs of fear and we are working on this with some success. He loves his walks, sleeping under the covers, and riding in the car. He is eager to learn, so we are obedience training him. He is responding. It has been over 35 years since we had a dog, and Rocky is filling that hole in our lives. As an added bonus, I am getting my exercise daily. Thanks to Rescue Me, we have found an amazing dog.

     Autumn was at a full kill shelter where they were begging for help for her. I took her, had her transported, fixed and vetted. The only negative is towards some people who emailed me and the only thing they asked about is it they could have the dog for less than I was asking. If you can't afford the dog, perhaps you can't afford the care, particularly vet visits. I, personally, was not inclined to consider such people.      Rescue Me is a great site. I posted Daisy on a Wednesday evening and had an email Thursday morning. We did not want to re-home her, but had no choice. She wasn't doing well with the females in our pack. Otherwise, she is a very loving and good dog. We found a very loving home for her and she we to live with her new family the following weekend. She is getting the individualized attention she needs. They have a great house, backyard with a pool and go on walks everyday. She also has a brother to play with. I an so very thankful we found a great house for our girl so quickly.

     Due to my daughters allergies, we had to find another loving home for our Min Pin Chi mix. We looked into a rescue, but that didn't sit right with me. He was our baby and I worried about all things that could go wrong or scare him. He was used to being the only dog and having attention|. If we gave him to a rescue, he would be one of many he would be scared and possibly lonely. Then he would be there until someone came along to adopt him and he would again be in a new place with new people. I thought it was just too much for a puppy to go through. So I researched and found Rescue Me. We were devastated to have to do this and were so worried about our puppies well being. We had fallen madly in love with our puppy and hated the thought that we would have to part with him. I posted here on Saturday night around 10pm, the next morning I had several emails from interested families. All sounded great and all answered every and any question I had. After a couple emails and a long phone conversation, I found our Dinger a FOREVER HOME!! Sad but happy to say he was placed in his forever home on Sunday. The family welcomed our family in with open arms, we took pictures and shared stories. They told us that we were welcomed back anytime and that we are his family too and always will be. It was a true prayer answered- so, so happy to find this website!

     I know God's hand was in this because without Rescue Me, Dash would not be here. His journey has a happy ending... Dash's mommy is a full-time missionary and she could not take him with her. I fostered him until I found Rescue Me and posted his information. After many inquiries and a one-hour adoption attempt, Dash now has a new Mommy and Sister-Dog (Carly)!!! We both drove two and a half hours each way for them to meet. They are a perfect match! We have gotten pictures and news from his new owner a few times and it looks like he is happy and sounds like he is much more active now as he gets lots of walks and goes for lots of rides. I am grateful to Rescue Me for helping this happen. :-)

     My husband and I found this precious puppy one month ago, running in the middle of the road, exhausted, thirsty, and shivering from the cold. After an extensive search for her owner, we didn't receive a single call. We have fallen completely in love with her! She is so funny and affectionate! However, we cannot keep her. We lead very busy lives, and simply cannot give her the attention and time she deserves. Plus, we have two huge dogs (100 pounds) that could possibly harm her while attempting to play with her: she weighs eight pounds. We have been hesitant to surrender her to anyone, because we were afraid she wouldn't be cared for properly. A friend suggested Rescue Me, and we have found the perfect home for 'Coco'. We will be meeting her new family ---we are driving south, and they are driving north, to meet halfway to complete the adoption! We had a great 'interview' by phone, and we are thrilled with Coco's new owners! Thank you so much for the peace-of-mind this site has brought to us!

     I posted two min pin brothers that really needed to be placed together because of how close they are to each other. These were two very adoptable doggies. Their disposition was simply very affectionate and loving, 8 month old puppies. They had not developed any bad behaviors or temperaments since they were so little and because they were very highly sociable with people and just wanted love back. They also wanted to know they were going to be safe and cared for by people who really wanted them. I am in Florida, and within three days my prayers were answered and these two little min pin boys were placed with a loving family who was ready for them to be in their home! I am so grateful for the Rescue Me site. It saved these two little doggies the path of going to a pound and they still have their good natures and, now, a loving home. I took these two little guys from a home where the owner had not tried hard enough to place them and was not able to keep them in the new home she was moving into. She truly loved them, but the odds were not in their favor. They would've been dropped off at the local SPCA at the last minute. I loved meeting and rescuing these little guys and so happy this online Rescue Me gave them their new home.

     We saw Bambi as soon as she was posted and sent an email to her owner. The owner contacted us the next day and we went to pick her up. We couldn't be happier. This process was so fast and easy.

     Thank you for posting Dewbie Doo's information. We had several notices from people wanting to adopt Dewbie Doo. I kept going back to the same person. She had all the right answers for me and something told me she needed him as much as he needed her. When we finally meet for the exchange I could see why. They hit it off and he was ready to go. I am so happy for them and that everything worked out. I had an email from her after his first night. They are getting along well.      Thank you, Jeff, for this fabulous website. I posted the adorable Min Pin puppy, Chico, for friends who had found him wandering the streets. Two weeks ago, the foster dad went blind, and trying to train and entertain an active puppy and care for their two aged dogs became very difficult. Unfortunately, they already 'loved him to pieces', and I was hesitant to even try to place him, as I felt no one would ever meet their 'adoptive qualifications.' I had five inquiries within 24 hours. The very first lady I talked to was able and delighted to meet every one of their stringent requirements. It was a 'miracle' match, and she came to claim Chico within a couple of hours. Chico's new mom has already sent six photos of Chico in his wonderful and welcoming new home - one with a kitten sleeping on his neck and others cuddling with the teenage daughter or chewing on his new toys as he was lounging on the couch. How kind of his new family to send pictures and notes to ease his rescuers' minds. How kind of Rescue Me to help those who try to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome. It is so often heartbreaking and discouraging...then you get a successful placement and become willing to try again.

     After searching for months to find the perfect home for Cleo, with no success, my mother found Rescue Me. I decided to give it a try. Within a few days, I got multiple inquiries about Cleo, all of who sounded like they would make great homes for her. I contacted the first family, and by the next day Cleo and her new owner met. I couldn't have been happier with the family she is in now! I was very sad about having to give up Cleo, but it has been such a relief knowing she is in a home that can meet all her needs.      In an effort to lend a helping hand to a friend of mine, I offered to watch his brother's min pin for an undetermined amount of time. I had been told that she was being neglected and mistreated, and as an animal lover I had to help. When I brought Bella home, it was obvious that she had been through quite a bit from the way she inhaled her food. It was as if she didn't know when her next meal would be, and she would cower in her crate after making a mess in the house. She was with me for about 3.5 months, and in that time she was able to adjust well and begin to trust again. At this point, I realized that she was ready for a forever home, and I had no potential families waiting for her. I researched Rescue Me and decided to give them a try. After posting Bella's profile, I received an email from someone interested in adopting her the first night. Then came another inquiry a day or two later. I can say that everyone I was contacted by seemed to be a genuine animal lover and knew what it takes to be a responsible pet owner. Thanks to Rescue Me this entire process went as well as it possibly could have. I would recommend anyone looking to adopt or needing help finding a home for an animal to use Rescue Me.

     A volunteer at our wonderful shelter, the Yancey Humane Society, suggested I post for adoption on Rescue Me! the stray that was brought to me by camping visitors.
